Leonie Adler (UNICA)

Leonie Adler (UNICA) è un’artista contemporanea. Nata a Pune, in India, con radici irlandesi, è cresciuta in Svizzera. Si esprime con ago e filo. La sua fonte di ispirazione è l’ambiente, le diverse culture, ma anche la geometria. La sua prospettiva sull’arte e sulla creazione dell’arte è stata plasmata dall’artista Louise Bourgeoise e dall’artista tessile svizzera Lissy Funk. È anche membro dell’associazione artistica GAAL.

Leonie Adler (UNICA) is a contemporary artist. Born in Pune, India with Irish roots, grew up in Switzerland. She expresses herself with needle and thread. The source of her inspiration is the environment, as well as different cultures, but also geometry. Her perspective on art and the creation of art is shaped by the artist Louise Bourgeoise and the Swiss textile artist Lissy Funk. She is also a member of the art association GAAL.

Riconosciamo nel formalismo l’unico mezzo per sottrarci ad influenze decadenti, psicologiche, espressionistiche. Ci interessa la forma del limone non il limone.
